Justin qualifies 15th at Chicagoland Speedway

Justin and Dale Coyne Racing qualified 15th for Saturday night’s Peak Antifreeze and Motor Oil Indy 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. The #18 Z-Line Designs – Office Max car was 4th in line to qualify around the 1.5 mile tri-oval and Justin recorded a four-lap average speed of 213.011 mph. Team Penske locked out the front row, with Ryan Briscoe on pole (215.364 mph) alongside Helio Castroneves. Justin’s qualifying performance came after a productive morning practice session where he set the 11th fastest time and he’s confident of a strong performance in tomorrow’s race.
“This is the best I’ve felt on the 1.5 mile ovals this year,” said Justin. “The #18 Z-Line Designs – Office Max car is working well and feels good out on the track. We’re not making too many changes to the car for tomorrow’s race and I’m looking forward to a good run.”
Live coverage of Saturday night’s event begins at 9 p.m. EDT in High Definition on VERSUS. The race will also air live on the IMS Radio Network, XM channel 145 and Sirius channel 211.
